archedigm

Plan, run and assure engineering projects from one model.

Archedigm PM keeps one model of your project: the work, who does it, what passes between teams and what each gate needs. The plan, the simple view and the formal diagrams all come from that model, so they always agree.

What we're building

A project tool where the plan, the people and the gate evidence live in one model, built on Object-Process Methodology (ISO 19450). You don't need to know the method to use it.

One model

Work, roles, deliverables and their states, recorded once. Change it in one place and every view follows.

One truth

Each gate knows what evidence it needs and who decides, so readiness is visible weeks ahead, not on the day.

Many views

A plan for the project manager, a simple picture for the team and sponsor, the formal model for engineers.

Works with your schedule. Bring in plans from MS Project or Primavera P6 and send them back out again.

AI that helps, and can be switched off. An assistant can draft a change from a document for you to check. Each project decides what it may share, data is processed in Australia, and AI can be turned off entirely.

The whole project on one page

The simple view draws each team as a line, each step as a stop and each gate on the boundary between phases, so anyone can see where the project is without learning the method.

Simple view of an example project: six team lines with their steps, hand-overs between teams, and three gates with their readiness.

Where it's heading

The direction is set; the detail moves as testers tell us what matters.

  1. Now in testing

    Model-based project management

Plans, changes, approvals and gate evidence held in one model, with views for each kind of person on the project.

  2. Next

Faster everyday work and gate readiness

Less time keeping the plan current, and gate packs and status reports produced from the model rather than assembled by hand.

  3. Next

    Technical progress, connected

Linking the plan to requirements, systems models and risk registers, so progress on the engineering shows up in the project.

  4. Later

A family of tools on one engine

The same modelling core applied to systems engineering, research and development, and strategy.

Help us test it

We're running small rounds of testing with project managers, technical leads and engineers. Each round has a short list of things to try and a place to tell us what you found.

  • Sign in with your email; no password needed.
  • Use the example project, or a plan you're allowed to share with anything sensitive removed.
  • See our replies to your feedback on your own page.
